Work Permit

A Work Permit is an official authorization from the Cambodian Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training

An Employment Card is an identification card issued by the Ministry of Labour

After the Work Permit is issued, the foreign worker can apply for an Employment Card

Once approved, the Employment Card is printed and issued. This card must be carried by the foreign employee as legal proof of work authorization

Both the Work Permit and Employment Card must be renewed before expiration. Employers and employees should be aware of timelines to avoid lapses
